- Hosting
- GitHub Pages serves the site. Like any web host, it processes each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page.
- Waitlist
- If you join the waitlist, your email address is stored with Kit, the service that sends the email. It’s used only for news about Sessionboard, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
The app
Sessionboard runs on your Mac. The board listens on 127.0.0.1 only, so other machines can’t reach it. There is no account and no telemetry. This is everything the app sends off your Mac:
- Optional summaries
- Opening Safe to close, or pressing Generate summary, runs your own
claude -p --model haikuto write a short summary. It goes wherever your Claude Code already sends requests. The Summaries switch in Settings turns it off. - PR and CI state
- Read through your own
gh, signed in as you. GitHub sees the same requests as when you run it yourself. - Nothing else
- No account and no telemetry. Hooks never send a tool’s output, and they send only to the board on this machine.
